SX fuel pump install questions?

Default SX fuel pump install questions?

about to install the xs fuel pump part number " SX-18203 Billet 1000hp fuel pump" couple qustions, do i need to get a bigger relay? are the stock relay good enough? if so how big? Also how big should the power wire to the pump be? thanks

I used 8 guage wire from alternator with fuse and 30 amp relay. My pump turns on when I turn the key on. This ****** is loud though

i think it would be best to pull from the battery or the alternator. all the buicks i built have the power from the alternator.

You can use an MSD single pole high amp relay. You can use 10 gauge from the battery with a 30 amp fuse as close to the battery as possible. Then use 10 gauge for the ground from the pump.

thanks for the info guy, we wired up the stock realy seem to work ok, it's loud as hell lol
