Default to swivel or not to swivel...

i have just started piecing together my oil feed and drain parts... and i was just wondering if you guys use AN swivel fittings or regular AN fittings... i think with the drain im just gona use the regular ones but for the feed i might use swivels thanks guys....

Well they all kinda swivel to a point.. Are you talking about using machined 1piece fitting as opposed to multipiece swivel fittings???

I use a swivel 45* fitting where my return goes into my pan...no leaks whatsoever.

Im using a 45 swivel from the turbo and a straight fitting going to the pan..

thats exactly what i what im going to do.. but i just cant seem to find where i can buy the swivel pieces.... i tried summit but they seem to only have the solid type...do you guys know of any places?? thanks guys..

I almost exclusively use Eaton Aeroquip AN fittings. All of their AN hose-ends are swivel.

Summit stocks all manner of sizes, as does Racer Parts Wholesale. http://www.racerpartswholesale.com

thanks man... i just checked out racer wholesale.. and all they had was 4 an and up.. no 3 an stuff...

For -3AN hose-ends, you have to switch over to using the high-pressure steel fittings and PTFE-lined hose.
