switching manifolds - broken stud in the head
I broke my far left bottom manifold stud when putting my header back on.
I guess I torqued it a bit too much (gotta stop lifting them weights). Is there a better way of getting that stud out and replacing it? While we're on the topic - what is the thread/pitch of the stud? Thanks - I appreciate it.

I assume they're talking about a bolt extractor. You drill a hole in the middle of the stud, then use the extractor, which is like a dull drill bit that will turn counterclockwise. It will drill in a little inside the hole and then "bite". After that, the drill will unscrew the stud. Does that make sense?
I had to replace two of my intake studs last week...don't ask.

I dont know about how much slack I have, but what about welding the piece on and then trying to unscrew it? Tinker- what did you do to fix your studs? -- or did you?
