What is the easiest way to remove these?

I don't know from experience but i would say to just double nut them. (Put 2 nuts on about halfway down the stud and snug them together the try to loosen the one closest to the head should unscrew out of the head)

you can try the double nut method... you thread on one nut the opposite way, and then another the correct way, and tighten them together. if im not mistaken, you use the first nut you put on the unscrew the bolt... someone correct me if im wrong.... hopefully this helps...

tighten two nuts together then use the back one to get then take them out as normal

i tried this. both of the nuts unscrew at the same time
