Default To switch turbos?

i havent even boosted yet but Im considering selling my turbo.
ive got the beautiful GT30.(for my b16 )
Dual Ball-bearing cartridge
0.82 a/r Turbine Housing (4 bolt outlet)
0.70 a/r Compressor Housing
Watercooler Center
56 Trim Compressor Wheel (T04S)
55 lbs/min Comp Flow Max.
84 Trim Turbine Wheel
External Wastegate
T3 Flange
** Ceramic Coated Turbine Housing **

i know this thing will perform well(well i hope it will )
but i could sell it and get something for half the cost and use the other money for other things.
question is..
is it worth it?
im basically ready to go with this turbo. i have everything ,fittings etc.(they are diff than other t3/t4's)
this turbo has somewhat become my baby and i really want to see what it can do but on the other hand it just makes so much sense to sell it and use my money more "wisely"..???
is this turbo really worth keeping?
its awesome in everyway.....I just dont know .
thanks.

That's a very nice turbo. Unless you need the money, i'd keep it.

If you want some extra money. The Precision SC Snails are nice. SC44 or SC60 would probably perform just as well.

I dont really need the money per se..it would be nice to get some though.
in a way it would allow me to get pistons and rods sooner rather than being on a completely stock motor.(but maybe its better that I boost on stock motor first time around?)
im totally over thinking about this. one minute im set on selling, the next I come up with a good point on why I should keep it.

so whats the point in keeping it if other turbos will peform just aswell?
this is where im kind of confused. what benefits am I getting by having this turbo(other than the ball bearing section)

I've had the turbo removed from my teg. And i'm going to sell the car, along with my civic But the reasons for that can be seen in my signature I'm hoping it will be a "no regrets" thing...

Turbo is fun. Just learn how to drive it properly, and you should be reasonably trouble-free.
Get too fast/powerful without a proper engine setup, and you're asking for trouble.
With that in mind, don't you think this turbo is just a "little" too big?

Well the watercooling is good, as the ball barings are.

But i don't know what the benifits are?

I wouldn't switch it. that is imo the perfect turbo for a fast street honda.
