less surge tho
dont really hear BOV at all
it surges for a sec and stops

and this is how it stands

"type s bov style with the less stiff of the two springs in it"

i tryed it with the stiff spring only
same sweeks
but i dont hear surge or bov at all!WTF
arg

i was told that the TYPES sounds like surge?

might just have to let it surge/not sweek on the dyno or something so it holds boost
im stumped

thats compressor surge. I had my real greddy bov hooked up and i thought it sounded a little funny. It didnt sound like any other BOV i ever heard before. Turns out it wasnt the BOV it was compressor surge (same thing you have)

I dont know how you have yours hooked up but the little nipple at a angle should vo back into a pre-throttle body charge pipe, and the bigger nipple to a vacuum source. I had mine going to my GE vacuum manifold, but tapped my manifold after the check valve. That caused imporper vacuum and my BOV would not work. I moved it to the FPR vacuum source and it works beautiful.
