Default Blitz DD BOV PROBLEM!!!

After driving home from work last night, everything was fine, my BOV sounded like normal until the next morning. It now sounds like a HKS sequential BOV?? Has anyone had this problem? I have a first gen blitz dd bov. It was also raining last night and i also drove through a puddle that was about 4 inches deep (itf that even matters) and the opening of my BOV is also facing towards the ground. My car is still holding boost so I doubt its the clamps/couplers.

I just strayed some wd40 on the bov piston, no luck. Doesn't seem like my BOV is opening up, just a fluttering sounds after i hit boost and release the throttle(sounds similar to HKS bov but not as loud). What could be the problem?

Check your vacuum lines, you may need a stronger source...

Okay, the sound that im hearing which i though was my Blitz bov sounding like a HKS bov, i think its my tial WG dumping the excess pressure. Therefore now my conclusion is that my bov is not even opening at all. Will it be safe if i drive around with my bov not functioning if i dont hit boost?

disassemble the BOV and clean it up (piston) a light once over with some fine sandpaper (2000 grit) to remove any burrs may also help.

a few drops of motor oil may also help,

Yeah i was thinking about taking apart, but the way my bov and flange was welded on my charge pipe, i cant even fit a hex key where the flange is. Doesnt really matter though, gonna order a new drag fmic kit and bov tomorrow.
