Default Supercharger belt problem

Hello every one. I have a crx1990 with a vtec b20 motor. I’ve installed a kraftworks supercharger but I’m haveimg problems installing the belt. I’ve got it on but it’s touching on the auto tensioner and eating itself. I’ve called works and they keep telling me it’s an adjustment problem that I haven’t found the right adjustment yet. I’ve tried everything and there is no sweet spot. The only thing I can think of is that the belt is too small. Please if anyone else has had this problem let me know what the solution was and if any one have any ideas I’m welcomed to them.

A 167mm crank pulley is not a B16A pulley... it is likely a CR-V (B20B) crank pulley. This is WAY too large for use with the Kraftwerks kit, and this is why the belt is making hard contact with the body of the auto-tensioner. This kit is designed to be used with a 139mm crank pulley... which is found on the '94-01 GSR. This also means that the 120mm supercharger pulley is too large in diameter to make maximum power with the kit... you will need a smaller diameter pulley.

Hi,
So what you’re saying is I should be using a GSR crank pulley?and a smaller diameter supercharger pulley. So why would they send me this size in the kit?
Thanks

The instructions mention the use of a GSR sized crank pulley. The standard 120mm supercharger pulley makes the kit VERY conservative in power output... nothing close to the Rotrex Supercharger's full potential. Where did you buy the kit from ?

Bought it from a supplier in Canada. I though it was strange that they didn’t ask what size pulley I had or wanted. I will be emailing them and finding out what went wrong thank you for the help.
