Super FMU hows it work
I am currently running a 3:1 riser with a reular Vortech FMU and it is running a little too rich so I was told by several creditable sources to get the adjustable one. So anyway I ordered it but I am told that I still use the disks that are in the regular FMU. How can I get a 2:1 rise or at least a delayed effect or some thing that will tone down the rise in pressure by still using the 3:1 being that that is the lowest one that Vortech makes?
I use 550s with a power FC. I fatten up the pulsewidth when im under boost so I dont need a lot of pressure. This is only going to last me until Apexi finally brings over their 3 bar sensors.
the super fmu comes with a vacuum - boost start screw, static fpr adjustment, boost limit adjustment, and bleed opening...
if you want ot use the bleed opening, you'll need to purchase sized orifices... they are separate from the SFMU... pretty stupid, but that's how it is

this sounds pretty complicated I hope its easier to understand when I get it. What about these offices are they jsut the disks that are in teh regular FMU? Can you please explain what the options you jsut stated do. Does the boost limit stop creating pressure? What does the boost start screw do, does it let you start rising pressure after a few psi? Sorry for the questions i jsut want to know how to operate my new peice.
