Default fmu rise rate (disk)

what kinda rise rate to run a with a 450cc runing 15psi every day and up to 20 psi on race gas at the track

i tried a 5:1 and the car would not even boost it was so rich that when boost came in and felt like the car just hit a brick wall and it just boged down

Holy boost batman! Forget the FMU with boost like that. As soon as you get near double digit boosting the FMu is out the window.

If you HAVE to use it, then use this formula: (Max rail psi - base psi) / boost psi = FMU rate)

i.e: 90-40 / 15 = X solve for X and get 3.33 so get a 4:1
i.e: 90-40 / 20 = X solve and get 2.5 so get a 3:1

Basically, you are limited by the max rail pressure and the capabilities of the pump.

You are going to need a AFC and I am not sure if 450's can supply enough fuel for 20 lbs of boost. If i was you I'd ditch the FMU and go standalone.
