Yea I think imma order one next check here. I have some sheet alum., I should probally be able to fab up a shroud myself.

I have noticed everyone welding them onto the radiator. Is that just you big guys showin off your welds, or does that serve some purpose? I was just gonna make one like the mishimoto one, just a flat sheet with mounting tabs....

the fan draws to many amps for stock wiring. you can buy the relay kit or DIY

see post #92 for a wiring diagram

sealing the shroud makes it more effecient. if not welded then some type of rubber should be used to seal around the fan and radiator core. thats my only concern with the mishimoto, it isnt sealed off well so it wont be as effecienct

i just looked at the the mishimoto crap It is crap. The shourd doesnt look efficient to me with the gaps around it. The fan is the same fan and I have answered that question. If you want to buy it and waste your money, so be it. But i personally have went though this and trying to prevent others from making ths same mistake.

Slow down there hybrid. I AM NOT buying the mishimoto stuff, I just posted that up to look @ the shroud. That was my question, would a shroud like that work. I can't weld alum. so I was gonna try and fab one up with some alum. I have, but not weld it to radiator like tony's. Anyhow, my buddy is gonna weld it up for me so I'm good to go. Ordering the SPAL fan, and making a shroud for it. I hope this works out man, I drive my car to the track, and drive it home so this overheating **** is REALLY pissing me off.

again thanks for the help hybrid!!!!
