Default stupid built sohc question?

Okay guys, this might be an extremely dumb question. I just drove my car with the built motor for the first time last night, it fires right up, idles smooth, and drives fine. I have my stock ecu and injectors in (OBD2), but no O2 sensor hooked up. The car won't rev above 3,000 rpm. Is it in limp mode because of the O2 sensor or is there something else wrong?

Yes, but I have always had one for Secondary 02 sensor, now there are no 02 sensors currently hooked up, so I'm wondering if this could cause this problem?

As far as i know having no o2's wont throw you into limp mode. Check to see what other codes you are throwing.
