Default Strange behaviour at part throttle

I'm running 6psi on a d16y8, 450cc and SMC+. I've tuned it on the dyno (full throttle) and got decent a/f ratio. BUT, when i'm at low or mid throttle and accelerating the car start to hesiate a bit, kind of a jerking motion. Does anyone have the same problem with a similair setup?

thank you

Mine does that too, stock injectors, stock ECU... I think it's tuning My guess is the TPS being retarded.

You need to tune your partial throttle. When you tune your car at full throttle, it doesn't mean that your partial throttle is automatically tuned.

HybridcivicLS-T:

You mean that the injectors are the problem ? how come they are ok at full throttle ?

I know that, but the SMC+ does'nt allow more than one fuel map, so i can't tune the part throttle

you can't really tune open loop with the hack. just avoid it. the ecu tries to run stoich for open loop mode-- i don't think it's all that safe.

When my o2 sensor went bad, at part throttle in open loop the engine hesitated like crazy. Just one more thing to check out after you tried everything else..

The fuel maps on the smc are very large. You are prolly just running really rich. The SMC is the problem, not your injectors.

Here's my fuel curve

You still think the problem is the SMC in open loop ?

again, that is your fuel curve at WOT, and not at partial throtte/boost. There is a chance you are running too rich at partial throttle.

Your car is jerking/hesitating under part-throttle because the SMC cuts your MAP signal to allow you to run those larger injectors(like the AFC hack). This problem is also common with the AFC hack.
