sohc greddy kit on b18b

sohc greddy kit on b18b
Hi guys..if i were to run the sohc d16 greddy kit on my b18b...and replaced the manifold with the bseries greddy manifold..could i still use the downpipe that was provided in the sohc kit? or would i have to get a differnt one?

same down pipe..... think about it... you would use the same downpipe for which turbo your using. 18G downpipe will not bolt on. You can get a custom if you like

good point. Well since he has an EK with a B18b, and the motor does sit differently. I would think you might have to add about 1-2 inch more piping. not possitive on that.

Are you guys saying that the downpipe won't be long enough to reach the cat..or are you saying it won't line up?

it should line up but you'll have to kind of pull it towards that driverside more. If anything I think that sohc 15G downpipe will be about 1-1.50 to short.
What you can do is just install the kit and drive it to a muffler shop, give them $80 and they can do a quick nice custome mid pipe for you.
It will all make sence when you actaully do it and see how much piping your missing.
