Default Stock plug numbers

What are the factory stock spark plug numbers for a D16Z6 civic??

Just wondering cos u guys say to run 2 step colder plugs when boosting.

In the UK the standard plugs for my D16Z6 are NGK BKR6E so what would 2 steps colder be?????

cheers

Should be in 2 places. Look at the sticker under you hood or there should be a sticker above or below your upper drivers side uppper motor mount.

I thought the bigger the number the colder the plugs...

The bigger the number, the colder the plug, here in the states a D16Z6 runs the BKR5E-11, so two steps colder would be a 7.

Hmm interesting that the UK D16Z6 runs a colder (BKR6E) plug than in the US D16Z6 (BKR5E) ???? Very strange, so i spose for my turbo set up I wanna go up two steps to a number 8 plug????

Does this exist??

Out of interest what is the srtandard compression ratio on a US D16Z6??? In the UK it is 9.2:1 is that the same as the US equivalent?
