I have the GReddy 16g kit...Does anyone know what the best spark plugs are for this application? Probably NGK's, but which one's??!!!

or the bkr7es. contact phil (project dc2) he has a real good deal on them. my cousin here in seattle runs some heat range 9's on his car and so do i. but you really don't need to run that much colder.

6's are stock on my car, so 7's are 1 step colder.

The stock V-Power NGK spark plugs for a D16z6 are ZFR5J-11 #5584. One step colder would be ZFR6J-11 #5585. I use 6-series in my car.

This thread might help also...

I use BKR6E's in my D16Y8.

Stock level for D16's is 5, going one step colder means going to 6.

I'm guessing he's making around 200whp give or take a few, so there is no reason to go 2 steps colder if your running decent fuel\spark management.

same here

but the weird thing is if you go to the NGK website and look up a honda civic y8 it will shows 5's as being stock
look up acura el y8 and it shows 6's as being stock

also when would a guy want to go to 7's ?? 200whp+ ??
there seems to be alot of mixed answers

For every 75-100 hp gain ---> go ONE step colder heat range (sparkplug)
