Default stock plug gap for aftermarket ignition?

should i bring my plug gap to .040 with msd ignition
i currently have it set at .030

i have msd and had misfire at .032 @16psi then i try .030 and everything was fine
if you boost 8 psi @ .035 it should be ok

right now i'm only boosring @5 psi but will be going to 8psi after i finish upgrading all my fuel stuff
