Default Boost gauge-easy Q

This weekend I'm installing Boost/oil pressure/volt gauges on a 93 Civic EX Coupe...where's the best place the run it through the firewall? Also...any idea what the stock oil sender thread size is(for adaptor and T) When I installed my A/F I just ran it to ecu so I didn't have to go all through the engine bay...so, I'm clueless.

i ran the majority of my gauge wires and lines through my driver side firewall located near the steering column. just drill a hole through the fire wall large enough so you can run the wires through them. On my h23a the oil pressure sending unit is located on the back of my block above the oil filter, try looking in that area on your engine. good luck

yeah, I think mine's on the passenger side back of the block...but close enough...hmm...is there anyway to get it through the firewall without that? do they sell those grommets at most auto stores...I didn't really wanna make a new hole...but, if I gotta, I gotta. Thanks.

they have grommets at the auto stores like napa. if you want to, you can always look for another opening in the firewall and run wires through there. check your passenger side above your ecu, there should be a large opening here that you can run wires through. use a coat hanger to pull the wires through.

Well, not to sound like a complete retard, but I looked around there when I was putting in the A/F gauge and the wiring goes out of sight (forgot how) and then goes through, so I couldn't see it or get to it, as I recall. I just wondered if anyone knew exactly where one is for sure...just need two wires and a TINY vacuum hose( <1/8" OD) to go through...I just read that there is one next to the clutch master cylinder...maybe I can use that (have to go look). Thanks though! Nice car, too.

i know on my car, if you are looking from the engine bay on the far left side there is a rubber boot where wires run from the engine bay to underneath the dash. find this boot, stick a coat hanger through it and look for it under your dash. but be careful, dont go poking just everything. just look around, im sure youll find a small opening somewhere. good luck
