Yes get an aftermarket clutch, there is nothing worse than getting on a dyno and your clutch starts slipping.
And now for when you start asking what kind of clutch to use i will answer it for you in advance....

Re: stock/aftermarket clutch on the dyno? (urbansi)
it is a proven that dynapacs have killed 2 stockers and 2 fx400's in our shop. it WILL KILL your stock clutch. dynapacs are the clutch killer. the bad thing is, when the clutch slips on a dynapac, it can take out your axles too. like it did on mine.
when the dyno senses a drop in torque, it loosens up, when it does, the clutch grabs again, and the dyno bears down. this happens like 10 times a second, and the brunt of the abuse is absorbed by your inner cv joint. when my fx400 crapped out on me, it took out my axles as well.

Re: stock/aftermarket clutch on the dyno? (boostedcivicsir)
I had a clutch net dd pressure plate with a 6 unsprung, and @ 375hp the dynapack killed my clucth, in two tuning sessions. I only had 450 miles on it. It was weired cuz power would climb and then a 6500 it would start to fall, then at 7000 it would catch and jump 75 hp. we didnt know what the hell was going on till, the clutch finally let go all the way. Just waiting for my twin disc now!
