standard turbo size question
Well, its turbo hunting time again. Mostly stock B16 (stock internals). Building a new kit. T3/T04E .63 A/R but 57 trim or 60 trim. I know I dont want .48 a/r. I know many people on the forum who are running a .63 a/r on a B16, but I was just wanting to know if I should go for a 57 or 60 for a stock block (springs and retainers..etc headwork) B16 redlining around 8500, to make about 300 whp (all the little turd can handle) and have a somewhat usable power band. If it does not spool till 3800, no big deal....B16s are dogs there anyway.
Thanks all in advance.

Sorry, I wasn't very clear. For most the time, 7-8 psi, so boost by 4kish should not be too hard. However, will the turbo be overkill when its time to try and put down 300whp... and have it be somewhat usable....powerband wise...I have an S1 tranny so once out of first, rpm stays rather high throughout the gears...sorry for the confusion...
