Default ct26 on stock b16

ok i got a 91 hf with a stock b16....im almost done piecing together my turbo kit, anyways, i got a supra ct26 for next to nothing and was wondering how this would be on my b16. i would like to add that this was rebuilt by performance technique and had a 62 trim installed. its huge. i dont care about lag at all, as long as i make full boost at like 6-6.5k then i'll be really happy. any input will be apprecaited.

Cant help ya on spool time, but with the 62 trim on the ct26 they dont last to long, its to big of a wheel for the shaft. A 62 trim on a 3.0L hit full boost about 3200rpm

ha ha i wanted to try the same thing. i have both cars b16 crx and a turbo mr2. i think the lag wouldnt be that bad it would almost equal a t3/t4 turbo. a 62 trim? are you sure the most i've seen were 61 trim for the ct26

I used a Ct26 off an mr2 91' turbo on a kit for my buddys 93 toyota pickup. It boosts 8 psi fine and can handle 22psi max without cavitating. By the way its been three years since we turboed it reliability shouldn't be an issue. My only complaint about using this turbine is it taps into your coolant lines since its water cooled.
