Me? Not my car, it looks even worse under the hood. Bent fins are least of his worries.

Yea you can get the fin straighteners cheap online and some auto parts stores have them.
a friend of mine down the street has a turbo 944.. I might see if I can borrow the intercooler to see what it looks like on an ek chassis

What are you talking about? I'm confused lol

The link he posted shows the guy had no clue how to route piping properly... he clusterfucked the piping from turbo to intercooler lol.

Would the "aftermarket " sized one posted still fit between the rails??

Id love to see how these guys are squeezing the hot side piping past the radiator

It should... there's no change in core width, only thickness.

You have to either spin the radiator so the passenger side sits closer to the motor and move it over towards the drivers side

Its just thicker..... but you'd have to flip it over to work... having the passenger side outlet pointed down won't work on our cars
