Srry for the repeat, but I have NO idea what to do for an exhaust.
Ok, I know I keep posting about this, but I still can't figure this out.
I'm getting the FMAX kit. It comes with a 2.25" downpipe, unless I get something custom made, so thats what I'm using. For a cat, I'm getting a carsound cat for whatever size exhaust I get.
Now heres my question: What size exhaust and type of muffler will best fit my needs? I will be boosting 6 psi, w/ an occasional 9. My tastes in sounds are this: I love my ITR exhaust, and my friends Apex WS, so super quiet. So what should I get?
I know I dont want the Thermal 3", cuz I dont need 3" and its too loud. So my options are basically this: Apex WS (60mm), custom 2.5" w/ resonator and some type of muffler (should I get strait through or multipass?), or stick w/ the ITR exhaust I have now (heard it wasn't good to go smaller in exhaust down the path and ITR has 2" restrictions).
So there you go. Again, really sorry to keep beating this, but I really can't decide on my own.
Thanks,
Matt

60mm is smaller than 2.5" but larger than 2.25. I thinks its something like 2.3" or 2.35" when converted. I did the conversion a long time ago and I think thats what it was.

just get the ws; seems like loudness is important to you even tho its not a turbo exhaust. i dont think you'll gain much by goin up to 2.5". i just picked up the older rs and even tho its not for fi, i think it'll do just fine for the turbo.
