Default Help with quiet Exhaust.

i searched!!
ok i have a 99si with greddy kit.
i currently have the BC specIII exhaust want a stock look and sound. I was thinking of purchasing a jdm itr exhaust (2.5"). I mean i'm running the 2" downpipe so, do u guys see a problem with trying to run the jdm itr exhaust. Or should i just weld the vibrant muffler on my bc piping?
i'm willing to give up a couple hp for quietness but not toooo much.

RS-R sounds stock
Apex'i WS is almost stock sounding
Magnaflow makes mufflers that are not that loud

I don't know why people freak out so much about 3" exhaust's being loud.

I used to run a DC Sports cat-back exhaust, and it was fairly quiet but not exactly silent either.

I currently run a 3" downpipe, 3" Magnaflow cat, 3" KTeller exhaust with a 18" resonator and Magnaflow # 14834 straight-through SS muffler.

It's not too loud at all IMO compared to the DC Sports, and it sounds mean and flows WAY better.

I've got a Greddy SP2 with a ecutout; i'm planning on switching to a Tanabe Medallion Touring and a "long-lasting" ecut.
