Spooled Up???
I was wondering what can be done to keep a turbo spooled up for a longer time? When I let off the gas the boost drops off very fast, and I don't hear the turbo spool up before 3500K. But there is this SRT4 that goes down my block and you can hear the trurbo spooled up all the time, whats up with that.
My set Up:
Drag Gen 3 Turbo kit
Tial external wastegate
Thermal 3" exhaust
NO Cat
Walbro Intank 250 fuel pump
650 cc Injectors
Blitz Super Sound BOV

one way is to recir the B.O.V back to the intake pipe of the turbo. that way when you left off the gas, the boost that you blow off when you let off the throttle will go right back into the turbo and keep it spooled. Besides that your going to have to get some type of ems that has full throttle shifting or some form of anti-lag feature. I hope that answers your question

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear, but the turbo hits full boost at 4500K, it starts to spool up at 3500K, it's a Drag Gen 3 turb kit, Turbonetics t3/t4 turbo, not sure on the other specs.

I have a Hondata s200. What is full throttle shifting? Do I have it? what are the advantages?
