NONE SPOOLING TURBO
YESTERDAY I WAS DRIVING MY HATCH AND I JUST INSTALLED A TURBO ON IT, NOTHING CRAZY. T3T4 TURBO, TIAL WASTEGATE, SSAUTOCHROME MANIFOLD, BLITZ BOV, AND SO ON. ANYWAY I HAVE IT SET AT A MERE 6 PSI, IT WAS RUNNING FINE AND I WAS SHOWING MY BUDDY HOW MUCH BETTER IT RAN WITH THE TURBO, (IT HAS AN H22 IN IT). THEN I GO HOME SHORTLY AFTER AND SHUT IT OFF. GET IN IT THE NEXT DAY AND IT WONT GO OVER 2 PSI, THEN I CHANGE THE WASTEGATE SPRING TO A 12 PSI AND IT GOES TO 3 PSI NOW BUT IT STILL RUNS PRETTY GOOD BUT NOT AS WELL AS IT DID, I HAVE NO EXHAUST LEAKS THAT I COULD FIND AND I TIGHTENED ALL MY HOSE CLAMPS, WHAT COULD IT BE?
ALSO THE CAR STILL RUNS GOOD, BUT I ALSO NOTICED THAT THE BOV IS NOT AS LOUD EITHER. BUT YOU CAN STILL HERE IT. AND YOU CAN STILL HERE THE WHISTLE OF THE TURBO BUT IT IS JUST ABOUT AS LOUD AS IT WAS B4.

NOT a needed posting... So the guy doesn't type like you think he should, big deal. No reason to be an *** and attack him.....
FYI sorry guy, but this really only made YOU look like the retarded one here. Next time try to over look the caps and read the questions, or don't respond. No one held a gun to your head and told you to reply or read his postings.

have you check here?????
have you check here?????
well this is what i did, i took part of the piping out and revved the motor and stuck my hand over the pipe. the motor died. then i stuck my hand over the fmic and it blew alot of air. i didnt detect any leaks, is there a better way to do this? and also, why is it my turbo doesnt spool unless it is under a load?
You wont find your answer disassembling your charge pipes and fmic, your engine wont be able to breathe. And turbos only boost when you are building exhaust gases, being in neutral and revving wont even boost 1psi
UPDATE....... i had a hole in one of my silicone connectors now it runs fine. Thanks for all your help!! By the way is there anyone out there that has a set of 450cc injectors from an eclipse or something i can use for my civic?
your wideband readout? or a narrowband A/F gauge? if it's the latter of the two, then it really doesn't mean jack crappitty. sounds like you need to get a decent fuel setup and tune the car well
