Spark Plug + High Boost Experts.......
When I dynoed with my BCPR7ES11, we began to have misfiring problems when we turned up the boost. So instead of the usual 30 gap, we did a 25 gap and it worked fine. Although it's hell driving around on 25 gap, because the car will not idle that well. Now my question is, if I go with a colder plug, will it allow me to run high boost as I did before and still retain a larger gap in the plugs?
If so what a good plug in a colder range?
Thank's!

use a r5671a- number 8 NGK race plug and you should be fine.. that plug with .032 gap should be perfect as long as you have some form of igntion.
If your running 7's then go to an 8. Gap around .030, and go with an aftermarket igntion if you havent already. You are at the point where you need to upgrade to at least a MSD 6a box or something equivalent.
Oh I forgot to mention, I am running an MSD 6A, with a MSD HVC coil (the blue one), and NKG plug wires. I will try those plugs you recommended Viren. Thank's!
Misfire = not enough spark voltage to jump gap at high cylinder pressures
preignition = too hot of a plug.
You need to either get a better ignition (recommended), gap accordingly, or run less boost.
