Default Something really weird has happened! (please help).

Hey everyone, as you can tell by the sig. I own a 2000 boosted Si. I have made this my baby and my project. I am new to the game and I am trying to learn as I go. Right now everything is stock and I am running about 5-6 psi. Here is were the really weird part comes in. Every so often I pop the hood check connections, etc. Well today I noticed this wire is loose, so I unplug the connector, re-adjust the wire and plug it back in. Go to crank the car, it started, and immediatley stumbles and dies. Well if you hold the throttle open it will stay running, but if you rev it past 3-4K the whole motor starts to shake (like the timing is screwed). Then if you let go it stumbles and dies again. When I disconnected I thought it was a hot line for one of my gauges (boost, electric oil press). THIS SUCKS, and I want my car running again, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS if you need pics of the wiring just let me know

2000 Honda Civic Si
B16A2 (everything stock)
Gen III Drag turbo kit (5-6 psi)
3" downpipe
3" custom exhaust

Like I said, pretty new to the scene. Soon to come engine management, bigger injectors, etc.

First off, it is stupid to run a boosted car without some kind of ems.

Second, was this "wire" you disconected your map sensor?

yes it was running to the MAP sensor! Yes I know it's stupid to run without an ems, I am still trying to decide what the best one is for me. Any suggestions?

The ECU reset was a no go. There was something I forgot to mention early (didnt even think about it because I always keep it off). I got a really good deal on my car, it ran great, no CEL so I didnt mess with it. The car had a Venom 400 module on it, before everyone gives me , , , I know what peices of crap they are, hence that is why it stayed off. So when I turbocharged the car same thing no issues, in fact the car was running great until I re-attached the wire. I was going to trash it when I got a real ems. Anyway I was tracing the wires they feed off the harness that plugs into the MAP, run to the module and then a wire runs through the firewall for the LED to let you know when it is active. So please let me know what you think (besides I should have gotten some real em, etc.)

so that wire goes from the map into a module then to through the firewall to a LED light? is the module the venom 440?

just run the map sensor like stock. get some check valves. and it should go ok. i ran fmu, walbro 255 fuel pump, and stock injectors for 9 months, no problems.

Yep! It is the 400. So disconnect the module completely. Does it matter what size or kind of check valves ( I found a ton of different types)? Just so I can 100% sure were would be the best place to install the check valves? Thanks for ya'll help.
