Default Some last minute questions.....

I have a 99 LX, and wanted to install my Y8 IM and turbo this weekend, but looks like I need a little more help. I have a Y7, gonna put in a 14b. Let me start with the questions.

1) I want to use a Y8 IM. Originally I was told that I'd have to swap the Y8 TB with the Y7 TB. However after some reading, I read that if I use a OBD1 P06 ECU (Im gonna use Uberdata for fuel management), that I would need a 2 wire IAC. Thus I could keep the Y8 TB? Do I need to move that one pin on the ECU? I am using a OBD2-OBD1 conversion harness, where is this pin?

2) When running a OBD1 ECU, does it matter which O2 I use? Do I have to use the primary O2 from the exhaust manifold? I have a test pipe and I dont think the primary O2 would reach. Would I need to extend it,
or could I just use the O2 that was located on the cat?

3)When doing the coolant lines for the turbo, shoud I "T" both ends? I remember reading some erratic idle problems if I connected the TB coolant line directly to the turbo.

Can answer two of your questions I think, you will be fine cutting off the TB's coolant supply.

The primary 02 sensor is the one installed in your mani use that.

Cool bump for more answers. Also anyone one else using Virens CPR injectors? I have OBDI clips but they dont fit. I think I need to cut a line down the clip to make them fit? Thx.

u need to use the primary o2 sensor and yes most likely u will need to extend the wires. as far as coolant to the turbo is concerned... u lost me. You need an oil feed into the turbo and an oil return out of the turbo but i dont know what u mean by coolant to the turbo

Coolant to the turbo as in a water/oil cooled turbo. Bump for better answers.
