Go Apex-i. They give you a Ball Bearing IHI turbo. You'll need all the help you can get with dinky motors. Numbers depend on way to many variables like psi and tuning fuel ratio's just to name a few.

DINKY? last time a checked 1.6 litres was 1.6 litres with one cam or two.
not everyone has the cash to swap. Guys like my self just want to mess around with a turbo and have a little fun, not win cash prizes in time trials at the drag strip.
i say boost what you got!

Any who, i like the drag kit but im partial to garret t3/t4

just giving u some number's ive seen

i've seen like 270whp @ 16psi on a built d16z6 (rods and pistons, stock sleeves) that should be good for mid to low13's i think.

if ur talking low boost on stock internals... i made 165whp/140tq @ 5-6psi on my T3 on a d16y8 with the afc hack and a stock cat. my friend made 183whp @ 6psi on a y8 with a greddy turbo and hondata.

hope that helps.

I'm working on a SOHC too... I'm not longer a cam snob. I'd like to know why you can't make a SOHC fast also? 10.77 was pretty fast with 1535cc of diplacement. I'm going in the Outlaw class hopefully in 2004. I going to aim straight at Steph with a single slammer. Wish me luck.
