Well with money issues I was wondering if I can just go with a td04 or a smaller turbo set up on a DOHC? I was happy with my td04 before but it was on a SOHC and that setup has been long sold. Now I was thinking should I buy another turbo and just go with a smaller setup? I don't intend on making over 300hp and up I want a nice steady daily driver that will have the pull but not more than 230-270 hp?

Am I thinking about this the wrong way? I am serious of buying a new setup but this time around I want to piece it out. I had a greddy kit before and it was very reliable ( still is...the kid who bought it still has it.) I remember most people had a Drag kit when it was coming out, not knocking on Drag kits or turbonetics (Hell I think they are beasts and will eat up most other Turbo cars) It is just not for me. anyways those people who had those kits blew their motors or are not running turbo anymore.(probably bad tune or lacking of a good tune)

Anyways anybody out there have a good advice on getting to 230-270 hp? Or if you have a similar setup that produces that number, let me know. Thanks!

14b from a 1g eclipse or a t3 super 60 or something like that. you don't really want anything much smaller than that as a gsr engine flows almost as much air as some of the really small factory turbos are rated at itself

hmm I see, I plan on getting the greddy td04 kit with intercooler used and changing the manifold.
