So there was never a concurment....PWR air-water intercooler on a daily driver?
Is this possible or even a good idea? Im debating saving my money for this setup or just going with the large APEX GTR core air-air intercooler. Im looking to go 450+hp....and this car is my 'daily driver' even though it really isnt driven daily cause I dont leave campus a whole whole lot. So, whats the word?

When it comes down to it, there just aren't that many water to air (PWR or Spearco) intercoolers in real daily driven cars to draw info from. Do what your mind and heart tells you to do.

Alot of people aways disagree with me, but I say stick with a frount mount IC for daily driving.

i also agree with you.. you are not goin to benifit from having a liquid setup on a street car anyways over the air/air. a good sized front mount is more then capable of handling 450 hp efficiently...

I think air-air for daily driving. It would seem like you would always have to make sure there is water in the cell if you drive around alot compared to a drag car that makes 10sec passes and is on for like 10min.I could be wrong though since i know jack about air-water IC's.

I would agree for daily driving, air to air is so much easier. However they need to be exposed to open air flow. If you really want to be stealth, water to air can be very cool. However, it's just not for the everyday street guy. Takes a very special car and owner to pull it off.

get fast enough and you probably have to go back to air to air, because the amount of water needed would weigh you down!
