Hello, im researching and learning about turbos. Im not going to boost my car anytime soon, more of just adding more knowledge. I was wondering if there is an alternative to a front mount intercooler, lets say a water cooled, or ice cooled, or even a hidden fender mounted air cooled intercooler. I always think about turboing but cant afford the price because im the type who wants to do it the right way the first time, and if i would turbo i wouldnt want a big front mount intercooler blinging because i dont want the attention. Is there any way possible?

 

medium sized fmic painted black. cheap and effective. you can get a decent intercooler for under $100 online.

I can recommend Cxracing as a good company! Ebay has them nice and cheap... I have there 29x9x3 making good power...

 

Just put a front mount and paint it black. A2W is a of a pain for a street car. Heres now mines mounted, barrell style ones suck.



However, with no front mount I get a ton of airflow to the rad, and I run a 5" intake out the front bumper, I had the radiator shortened and it comes out beside the rad, fits great. Couldn't do this with a front mount.
