ive never sen anyone break an axle in thier honda..out of all the people who say they have..
however..even worse..i know i kid who had a exedy 3 puck unsprung hub who snapped 3 si trannies in his rex. but i guess thats becuz it hit sooo hard it would just snap the tranny before it could even be transferred to the axles...
as long as u dont has some wrinkle walls and launch at 5k rpm ull be ok

Hyrbid901 was breaking axles but, he does not have DSS axles. He has TCI stage 3's axles that, for what I understand, suppose to hold up to 350-400whp. . . . Here, I found it. Look at this. . . . . .

i'd say only around 220 whp
my god you could use an organic DISK. you dont even need a puck based clutch.
return it.
you dont make enough power.

I hope everyones jokeing right? Thats a sprung hub disc. I promise you that clutch will break before your axle will. I used to run a 3 puk unsprung hub in my race car and never broke an axle.

props to the 220hp, but that 4puck is a waste of money. driving for you is gonna suck *******, its gonna suck ******* 24-7. sell that bitch and get an organic street disk, you dont NEED a 4 puck. im lookin at pushing 400 hp and im only running the act extreme with org street disk, **** runnign a 6 or 4 puck.

Someone tell me if it's even physically possible to snap axles on street tires, not DR's, regardless of Hp.

Also I do not know if it has anything to do with it but both Driverside Motor mounts are busted now.
Everyone here is talking about breaking axles and I dont think its the clutch, slicks or what ever. Im sure most of you whole are breaking axles are running non-oem axles. Oem acura axles...esp. type-r or gsr axles are the only way to go. That remanufactured crap...sure they will break under any condition. I know I ran a 3 puk unsprung stage 5 clutchmasters setup and had NO problem with stock axles on a 25 tall slick with over 600 whp. A friend of mine...a simular setup. A 10 second coupe straight race car. 25 tall tire, welded dif., poly urethane mounts traction bars...whole whole nine yards and runs oem honda axles and is on a full race season without breaking an axle. If everyone has there car slammed and the axles are not in align....maybe thats your problem too.

Snapping axles.... eh.. depeneds on how you drive...
Snapping necks .... yes..
i agree with him non-oem axles are ggona to have issues with spline depth and grade of material the entire axles is made out of.
we see it all the time at the shop, people coming in with bad axles and its because they are non oem.
i have heard that stock axles are good till about 250-300hp
with slicks-depending on lots of variables, they could break, but they dont always do.
clutches have nothing to do with axles problems....yes it probably doesnt help if your axles is goin bad but its not the determining factor
and also my 2 cents if someone wants to drive on a carbon kevlar six puck clutch, there is no reason to say hes gona hate it and give him Sh*t about it, if thats what he wants thats what he wants.
i run a clutchmasters stage 4 with a jun ultralight cromoly flywheel in my car, daily driving....yes 1st is interesting but not really much different that any other upgraded clutch, you get used to it.
