Default New axles (TCI)

I've been having some serious axle problems. I just got some axles to test from TCI (the domestic tq converter folks) and they look badass. I'll take some pics on put them on here sometime. When I was down there picking them up I got a tour of the place. They are doing soem cool ****. They have a 95 civic ex auto they are playing with different tq converters in. With a 75 shot its ran a best of 14.8 compared to a 15.7 on the nitrous with teh stock converted. Both runs were on 20" slicks. They are also working on building some automatic honda race trannys. The biggest suprise to me was that they own fast/speedpro and there knowledge of imports since they all drive and race muscle cars. I put there 300whp axles in my car yesterday and have had no vibration or any problems as of yet. I went to the track tonight but got rained out before I could make a pass. I also have there 600whp axles in my gurage waiting. They have new hubs and larger splinds. I am so stoked about getting these since I have been saving up for some DDS axles and this hopefully frees up some $$$ for my 2.0 build up.

I'm not sure on the pricing but I can find out and see if they would do a group buy or something if there is enough intrest.

Everyone needs to remember, this product has not been tried and tested. There needs to be some kind of track results before everyone jumps in and buys these up.

I would be very interested in these for the right price, or even helping them test.

I would be more willing to use products from TCI, a company who's parts I've been using for 10+ years rather than some other place that got into the parts biz because of the import craze just a few years ago ... but let's see what he's got to say after he runs them!

I took my car to the track tuesday night and made 5 passes with the 300whp axles (not the ones in the pic). I did some nice 2nd gear burnouts and 8k launches. Not a problem yet. I'll be going back next week.

what they need to make are intermidiate shafts that will hold up to power, but cheaper than prodrive's version

I've never seen an intermediate let go... have you? For me, it's always been the passenger side axle to go.. usually on the spindle end -- it "twists" and snaps off.

If they fell they is enough of a need to build half shafts I would think they would. I have yet to have a problem with one but I have broke 19 axles so far. Maybe thats something I can look foward with more hp in teh future.
