guy i my area is selling a t28 turbo, but he says that it smokes a little past 7 grand, but theres no shaft play or oil leakage. he hasnt set a price, hes taking offers.

what could be causing the smoking, and is this turbo not worth anything?

That turbo is too small for anything 1.5l and up. I'd go t3/to4.
