Turbo problem...plz look in turbo guys.....
My friend (4thGenTurbo) is doing a custom Turbo setup at a shop. he's using a KKK(K03) Turbo, and I think either a VW/Audi 1.8L or a Eagle Talon intercooler.
Now I haven't seen this but after the started up the car and bolted everything together...he says that oil leaks from the turbo.
like I said..I have't seen this, but does anybody know why this might be happening???????
thanks
bartek

The turbo is leaking oil because the oil seals are bad. The turbo needs a rebuild.
the turbo on the exterior looks prefectly fine, never thought that would be the problem

yea they can be expensive...i say just buy a good turbo from the get go...by the time this one is bought, and rebuilt would probably cost just as much as a t3 or something...

Try reducing the overal flow of oil to the turbo. On some stock motors there are restricting orifices in the oil feed line to the turbo. SR20's have them in the oil feed line in the bolt at the block. People that dont run them have problems much like yours and diagnose them wrong.
