well i figure no problem making my dp and ehaust.. boy was i wrong.. we have a small welder at the shop so i used that and the beads are fine but mad pin hole leaks.. i went out to our other shop to use the big tig welder and i got 1 flange done before that bastard ran out of wire... anyone know where i can get a spool of it on sunday???

 

WalMart has some welding stuff... they're open 24/7.

lol my forehead is almost burnt.. haha the bead is fine but it will not sit down on the metal as if it were not hot enough.. i guess i should use the big tig then right guys?

last time i made a kids exhaust , i made mad tack welds under the car with no mask, point being sun burnt forehead and i dont knwo how but my eyelids as well LOL

pin holes????? are you using crappy flux wire? it just takes more practice

and how could a tig welder "run out of wire"? they are run off rods... you must mean mig

i swear to myself i wont ever rol a flux bead again, worst thing you could ever do

i have a lincoln 135 MIG and it gets PERFECT beads, how many amps is yours?
but for teh pretty **** i use my machines shops TIG good luck

 

oh i dont know what the **** the big one is ... i know it huge though.. gets plenty hot to actually make the weld sit down..
the small one is a little century i think 250 or 350 maybe? i dont know ill look.. man i dont know if i wanna post pics it looks that shitty
