Re: sluggish turbo! (whagkangmakulet)
is your boost still pegged at the target boost level? Does your boost ever drop? If not, try doing a compression check.

Re: sluggish turbo! (whagkangmakulet)
hum.....your wot and your narrow is totally opposite.
WOT suppose to hit at around 12:1 ratio which is on the rich side but not too rich like 8:1.
Narrow suppose if possible, at 13:1 or at stoich.
If right now your WOT is at stoich, you should feel fuel lagg, kinda like choking.
And if you just cruising, and light throttle, you will feel like sluggish.

Re: sluggish turbo! (whagkangmakulet)
you got AFC or VAFC?
if you do then set narrow map leaner
and set Wide map richer.
what a/f gauge you got?Autometer suck.
really have to tune it a little more.
Keep on driving it like soon it will cause problem especially if not built.
Try to use colder plugs.
But you got to set rich at wide and lean at narrow. How much? really depend on your fuel map, boost, motor, and other factors.
Oh and also, what injector you got?
my 440s on GSR turbo is kinda big.
I tuned my narrow starting from 1k at -33 to 4K, then -27 from 5K-6K, then -23 at 7K to 9K. Boosting at 14PSI. Wide map is totally different. much much richer, talking about almost -5 on high rpm.

Re: sluggish turbo! ([Evo]Hybrid)
I don' hae the fancy AFC or VAFC stuff, i wish! you're right Autometer Suck! I'm planning to buy EGT soon. I have a RC 320cc( that's what the person told me... I took it to RC here in cali and they said it could be ,cause they didn't have any part number on it. but it was running alright! would you recommend for me to get a AFC? what do you mean by colder plugs? thanks
Slow_Ass_4Dr:
I'll the check the manifold and Turbo section, I don't here any funny sounds though on that section... hmmm I'll double check it! thanks

Re: sluggish turbo! (whagkangmakulet)
Maybe your turbine is too big? what is the A/R ratio?
EDIT: Oh and has it always been this way?

Re: sluggish turbo! (whagkangmakulet)
So, it just happened recently?
Then, somewhere in your fuel system went wrong or broke just now.
I really think you need to check the Injectors, there is no 320cc injectors from RC. There is only 310CC or 370CC or 440CC sizes. If your injectors maxed out for a while, probably it died slowly and then the ECU is still trying to adjust as much as possible but since WOT is not controlled by O2 sensor anymore then the WOT fuelmap kick in and boom injector die. That's just one reason. Other reason could be your fuel pump died or not enough for the boost. BTW, what is your motor and what turbo you are using and how much boost?
Maybe your fuel setup isn't enough anymore.
Good luck!!!

Re: sluggish turbo! ([Evo]Hybrid)
RC does make a 320cc peak and hold injector.
Now for the problem, are you running an FMU? Tell me more about you entire fuel set up. I sounds like a fuel problem.

Re: sluggish turbo! (Arturbo)
My mistake for 320cc injector don't exist, I meant saturate injectors. I just felt the 320cc he had may be unreal and got ripped off. RC is weird, they say their biggest injectors are 440cc and then someone would have 720cc from them. I assume they don't want to sell me 720cc injectors, lol.
