that thing is going to spool up instantaneously but will die out in the top end. expect low horsepower numbers. at least go t3.

You should get the new Hogged Out T-25 from Forced Performance.

That is, if you already have a T-25 Manifold and stuff.

The t-25 is SMALL. Even on a 1.8L, it'll still be too small. I suggest the 14b from an older DSM for a bit better top end. Either way you still need a custom manifold.

The Forced Performance T2525 I think?

DSM Turbo...good for 11s @ like 12x ina DSM.

Stock T-25 Housing that are Machined for a ******* Huge Wheel.

Bet it would be badass ina Honda.

I wouldn't bother spending money on a fancy T25 when you could get a T28 probably for less.

t25's are street legal (in most places) because of the internal wg, bt produce minimal power

T25's are very small. You can boost more than 8psi on that smallish turbo with the B18b. Look for a drop in hp after 5k rpm.

my first turbo kit used a t3 off a ford 2.3 turbo engine. it is found in the merkur xr4ti, the turbo mustang and the thunderbird turbo coupe. its a garrett t3. the one i used came off a car with 100,000 plus miles but the turbo was in excellent condition. when i pulled it off to upgrade about 20,000 miles later, it still had no shaft play. it worked very well on my 1.6. not sure about an ls though.

like i said.. im not sure how it will work on an ls. i don't want to mislead you. the ford engines are 2.3... so i can assume it wouldn't be too bad. i used an external wastegate with my kit but the ford setup does use an internal wastegate.

T3 is like the perfect size turbo for me anyways.

Swap out the wheel from a 14B to a super 16G or 18G with the sane TD05 housing and you have a good 350+hp producer.

A t3 would be better. The t25 on my 1.6 runs out of breath at 6000 rpm. The 1st gen talon model won't be much better.

Fast spool up though.

I don't think it comes stock on anything you'll find in the US. You have to buy one and they usually cost more than a T3/4.

You might want to save yourself some hassle and go with the "norm" like I ended up doing.

Yeah T3 is a good moderate turbo. Snag one off of a Thunderbird.

If you snag a turbo off a T-bird or Merkur with the 5-speed tranny they come with a T3 super-60 which is one of the better matched turbos for a fast spooling integra setup.

Just because a turbo uses a T25 flange doesn't mean it's smaller than a T3. In fact, the HKS ball-bearing turbos use T25 flanges and are huge.

However, the T25's off the 2nd gen DSMs are indeed dinky little things.
