no question dude. if you're planning on tearing an engine apart to build a turbo motor, why spend the extra money for a type r when you're just gonna scrap all the stuff that cost u the extra $1500?????

if i was buying an engine to start from it would obviously be a gsr, and most likely i would sleeve it. but if i already had a type-r i wouldnt (and didnt) mind turbo ing it. i think this is an issue where people make the best out of what they've got.

Aside from the "novelty", why the hell would you want a stock C5 block over a sleeved C1???

I have both blocks and I chose the B18c5, just cause it's says that lol. I know I know, stupid reason, but they are both goin to be relseeved anyways, I just chose to use that for my turbo setup.

Well, sure if you have both, just sleeve the one with the C5.

hehe, the C5 is already at Golden Eagle. After that is done, I am going to send the GSR for my all motor setup.

I would take a sleeved B18B over the C5...Well actually, if it were given to me, I would take the C5, sell it then sleeve my B18B, but that will never happen so
