I think I am going to run open DP for a while. But still have the back section of my stock exhuast (97 LS) on. I might still do the e-cutout on the dp, but Idk, extra money. If not right away then maybe down the road.

I love the sound of open DP. Just sounds like a beast, so lovely when you hear that turbo spool. The looks on people's faces

i have a plate on mine for now as a temp setup...just get outs...remove 3 bolts...and whamo instant race car...and an extra 50-60whp kick in the pants....

i eventually plan on gettin dmh cutout...but my funds are lackin so ill have to be motivated for now...i eventually plan on upgrading and also gettin a dual eprom setup from xenocron...because when you open up the dp and decrease the exh backpressure...you increase the pressure diffrential across the turbo and it makes the car run about .5a/f leaner...so id like to be able to flick the switch on both the e-cutout and eprom setup...start'r back up and rip on it!

Another thing I'm gonna have to add to the list from Xenocron then

Would that be able to open while driving, or would you have to stop, open it up, and thens start it back up? Would there be a way while driving, maybe in the low rpms in vacuum? Not sure

you could open up the dp...driving anytime...but youd need to turn off the car to switch maps to the open dp map....or else youll be running lean...or if you know your goin out to cause havoc....switch to the oepn dp map...and drive w/ the ecutout closed...and youll run a tad richer...then just flop back to the reg map when done beatin on the car...

Keep the whistle. hide everything else. A little hint is cool. Everything stock looking - black IC, stock exhaust, but there's a little whistle that makes you go hmmmm.....

Most people won't know what that sound is anyway. Even those who THINK they know a lot about cars. The turbo community give you the head nod

no prob...even if i tell people my car is turbo'd...they still dont believe me...until i pop the hood...part throttle i can keep it outa boost thanks to my large hx35 turbo....and my bov is plumbd thru a piece of rubber pipe that quites down the rush of air after lettying of the throttle
