Default Sleaving

Is it necessary to sleave your block if you are running 9 and under psi on a b16?

nope. as long as you got enough fuel in the engine, you should be fine. I heard of some people running 12lbs with stock internal with some tuning.

9psi on stock internals is kind of pushing it on stock internals, but as long as you have it properly dyno tuned. i would recommend having a nice fuel management system, v-afc works but the hondata is your best bet. by the way, its sleEving.

How would you guys feel with forged pistons/rods and Blockguard in stock sleeves holding up to 9-12 psi?

I've seen 18+psi on a stock block. It's all about tunning.

Exactly how do you tune a car? What is done? I always here people talk about tuning cars and no one has exactly mentioned what is done.

you go to a dyno and have it monitored with a wideband 02 sensor. Your a/f ratio is tuned to where it will produce the most power. Ignition values are also adjusted to produce power.
