skyline turbos = t25 with ceramic fins that you can't spool above 1.2 bar very long without shattering.

skyline gtr = 2x t25
gts-t = t28...(some models are ceramic ball bearing)

GTR uses t28's, not t25's...i think the last nissan to use a t25 was the s13 silvia
The GTR t28's are smallish, it would spool up quickly but you might run out of puff up top. Give it a go since you have it already, if its not your cup of tea replace it with a GT series turbo later on

umm, what the **** are you talking about? i have owned an R32 GTR. They are not T28 turbos in stock trim. All R32, R33, and R34 GTR turbos are T25. They are only good for about 350-375whp total for both (ie. 175-187.5whp each). And they don't really run out of puff up top on a gtr, they make good power until redline. using one of these turbos on a b16 would definitely "run out of puff" though.

my friend has a t28 on his s15 and we have been running 14-17 psi with no issues with it. we just need to get a front mount on it.

T28 Ball bering on RB26 arent the same turbo of silvia cuz they are for a twin turbo engine(2x for 2.6L =1.3L each turbo)... Those T28 are good at least for a D16 Turbo setup....... Just calculate the compressor map you'll see that the turbo isnt good for you.... I've a T25 from a SR20Det on my b18b and I loose my boost at 6000 rpm...

</TD></TR></TABLE> again, the rb26 have twin T25!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the S15 have T28 ball bearing.
these turbos are too small for the B-series vtec motors.
