Skunk valves
Just wondering if any one can help me out. I bought a fully built b18c1 head for all motor for a decent price: port and polished, skunk springs, skunk retainers, skunk valves, skunk cam gears, stock cams. Now I decided to go turbo and have built my bottom end with Golden eagle sleeves, 9:1 JE pistons, and eagle H beam rods. I was wondering if the head with skunk all motor valves could be used with a turbo setup? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Re: Skunk valves (Rob1242)
the only difference i can see in them is that there are the regualar dished valves, and then theres high compression vales which a basically flat.
The only difference i think they are going to make is a little higher compression. I dont have any clue how much. I cant see them not okay for boost, just higher compression.

the skunk valves can be used, but will raise compression slightly. you would be better off getting a flat based valve which would work better with a turbo setup.
