honestly, i was lookin for itr cams. couldnt find a decent pair without buying new. at the time i wasnt sure if i was going to be gettin a new turbo or not. and i knew the n1's and my old 57trim would be flawless. i knew the build got serious once i got the new snail
Nice Setup. Question... U have any issues with your dumptube resting/rubbing your radiator? I have the same AFI ramhorn/dp/dt on a new setup I am doing and my dumptube is literally pressed against my radiator.

no. the prior year was 364whp/ 230wtq. the new setup went 413whp/236wtq.
i lost one thousand rpms in spool time from the gain. but im sure it was worth the change. goin to a dyno day in april, cause i know those torque numbers are ****. i can feel it. but theyre just numbers

sooo..... had two issued which were effecting my spool. the damn coupler off my compressor to my intercooler( backdoor coupler) had a leak. and had a leak at the damn oil breather box. vacuum has been reading lower and lower. capped the port off on the intake manifold, problem solve. after all issued being resolved, engine spools bout 500 rpms sooner. this winter i plan on doin all new couplers, small go autoworks catch can, and stickier tires. maybe some tuner 1's
id say not bad for a 61mm. considering it spooled a thousands rpms slower than my 57trim and 9:1 pistons. and after the recent changes with it spooling sooner,... i say not bad.
That's because of the smaller exhaust wheel of your 6157. That helps a tiny bit. Changing from N1s to Tuner 1s won't change much of anything with the turbo's behavior. Save the money for other things, like, brakes, fluids, pads, etc.
i got my basis on the tuner1s from the gsc vs itr thread thanks to d- rob. i already have hawk plus, and blanks. goin to home depot now, to window shop for a brake duct system.
My findings regarding the GSC's were with the T1's, not the N1's.
The N1's are similar to the Tuner1's, and won't change much. It's just the T1's that I still haven't found a soft spot for.

I even admit, when I first got them, I thought that based upon their design specs they were going to be for the larger mid-framed and large-framed turbochargers. (61lbs/min +). But after using these, setting up a few other projects in the H-T community, I'm seeing that the range is broader than most, so it can compete with the Pro1 for turbocharger applications, but after about 75lbs/min +, its time for a DDTECH or Web Cam to do the job for peak power. Peak power is still what the masses on this forum look for,
and the fact that higher idle and base ignition timing has to be slightly increased, turns off the average backyard specialist.
i was refering to the higher pressures it took the t1's to make close to the same power on lower pressure, on naturals build.
from what ive found, the newer tuner1's are 11.9mm intake/ 11 mm exhaust. with more duration than my n1s. cant remember the duration but, the n1s are 11.6/ 11

yea i know. kinda just leaned on the tuner1s. been talkin to travis at gsc since bout may, t1s keep getting pushed back from july, to august. now prolly no production on the t1s till september. wouldnt be surprised if they dont go back on sale till next year.
