SIMPLE QUESTION: 84.5mm HG on 84mm block
I just ordered an 84.5mm GE HG. I had forgot that my block is actually bored to 84mm..
question is, is it okay to run the 84.5mm HG or should i return it and get the proper HG size, ie 84mm
this is going to be goin on my GSR turbo motor

my thoughts exactly.. i think i'd rather spend the extra few dollars to ship it back instead of putting it in and risking it blow, and ending up spending another 100 for another one..

you shouldn't have a problem i do it all the time, whether it be 81.5 on a 81 or 84.5 on a 84. you just cant do the opposit like a 84 gasket on a 84.5 bore, cause then the gasket lays inside the bore and can cause gasket failure.
