should I swap B16A2 for a B18C4 ?
some guy offers me this engine and i don't know if it's worth the hassle swapping it and selling my old engine for those 0.2 L displacement.
however, everyone says there is no replacement for displacement and my B16A2 has 140k kilometers on it, the B18C4 has only half as many.
i'm going to be supercharged soon with stock engine and about 10 psi boost, uberdata tuned.
what would you suggest?

Re: should I swap B16A2 for a B18C4 ? (donkiman)
i already have the supercharger... a used one.
it will be much cheaper for me than a turbo setup would be. i don't need many of the parts i would need with a turbo. i want to spend as little $ as possible but not for the sake of performance or reliability.
maybe turbo will be my next project (car) but i want to go SC for now.
i don't know the difference between the C1 and C4 but the C5 is a type-r if i'm not mistaken. don't think such high compression goes well together with boost.
i want to retain the original compression ratio in the engine. leave it stock. maybe a blockguard but nothig more.
does anyone know how much better a B18C performs under boost than a B16A?
