Default should i be concerned???

did a compression test

180 180 170 180


170 had a little oil on the plug...should i be concerned?

Well they are nowhere near the best I have seen nor worst. I would def do a leakdown test. They should be higher but how many miles do you have on your engine?

a compression test wont necessarily tell you everything, which is why a leakdown test is better. also, it depends if you have lowered compression pistons. if you are running say 10:1.0, then i say your numbers are a little low. you shouldnt have oil on your plugs either, are you SURE its oil and not just a little bit of gas combined with carbon build up on your plugs?

yes, it's oil...i'm on stock internals....and about this leakdown test....to tell you the truth, never done one before, nor do i know how to do it....i'll start looking to see how it's done...thanks...

you'll need an air compressor...to do a leakdown test

go to your honda dealer, go to the service dept and ask one of the mechanic to do it for 20 bucks or sumthin.. I did..thanks to art..
