can anyone sugggest a list of things to do to a GSR TO BE ABLE TO WITHSTAND A GOOD AMOUNT OF BOOST
1: forged pistons
2: valves, springs, etc
3: forged rods

plus help me add to this

i want to be able on dial in around 30 for extreme case but drive around daily on about 8- 12 psi

Definately sleeves. For 30 psi that's a must. Also get your crank conditioned. Any part of the rotating asembly needs to be in perfect condition and in ballance otherwise with that much boost you will have serious reliability problems.
